“As a female, I found it hard to find a martial arts gym that wouldn’t separate me out from men and train me differently, but in Kyuzo I am given the same tasks and pushed as hard as anyone else in the classes, which is really refreshing.”
If your looking to get fit, learn something new, self defense or improve your grappling game i can’t recommend Kyuzo enough. There’s no pressure on you, all the guys/girls help each other out and Barry is fantastic coach. His enthusiasm for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is infectious and it rubs off on you.
“I would highly recommend training with Barry as he is a great coach that looks out for all of his students and has plenty of time for them. We also have many team nights, as in getting to be around the team away from training and have a good time not like most places.”
“was never a very athletic person but right now I am fitter, stronger and more limber than I have ever been and I’m improving every week. I also feel more confident that I could defend myself should the need arise. I love training in Kyuzo and I’d highly recommend joining!”
“One thing I liked about KO was the relaxed atmosphere. From day one you’re a member of the club, beginners are not forced to train with just other beginners; anyone on the mats is willing to train with anyone. This gives you a great opportunity to go at your own pace”
